Thud!
Spent 3 minutes trying to find a solicitors office location on their website. Lots of ‘me me me,’ areas of law etc info on their site. If I was a client I would want to talk not read. Lawyers like to read lots of stuff, clients don’t.
If I was a client I would have binned them by now.
Funny…talk big about The Net yet don’t get the fundamentals right.

WTF?
Here’s a weird thing.
Morning: met some really nice lawyers who wanted me to help them. Really engaging, human to human stuff. <— this is the best bit of my job.
Lunchtime: followed a load of tweets about the Legal Futures Conference. Thought, cool, interesting stuff, I’ll pop along with the intention of meeting these people.
Afternoon: arrive to find none of them are there...

Driving with the brakes on
My wife is chair woman/person* of our son’s PTA.
She’s just got back from the monthly meeting. There is one member of the committee that always talks over her (which is rude) and always wants to put her ideas ahead of everyone else, (which is selfish).

A friend of mine recently pinched a line I used in a post. At the time over a beer he told me how great he thought the line was.
At first I was a bit miffed…my idea. Where’s the recognition, the accreditation the acknowledgement of my…ahem (ego) genius?
